This statement provides an update on the AAIB investigation into the accident involving a Boeing 737-8AS, 9H-QAA on 21 August 2024.
The aircraft was pushed back by a tug at Stansted Airport, when its tail struck the blast fence at the end of the taxiway.
The investigation into this event is complete and a final report will be issued in due course.
