CNC shortlisted for two Oscar Kilo awards
The CNC has been named finalists in two categories of the Oscar Kilo awards, which celebrate the best initiatives, teams and individuals across UK policing.

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) has been shortlisted for two categories in the 2025 Oscar Kilo Awards, recognising the force’s outstanding commitment to staff health and wellbeing.

The CNC has been named a finalist in both the Healthy Living and Occupational Health categories — reflecting the Constabulary’s ongoing work to promote physical and mental wellbeing across the organisation.

Assistant Chief Constable (ACC) Kerry Smith said: “We’re extremely proud to be shortlisted in two categories at this year’s Oscar Kilo Awards. This recognition reflects the hard work and commitment of our teams who continually strive to ensure the wellbeing of everyone who works within the CNC. Supporting our people is at the heart of everything we do.”

The Oscar Kilo Awards, organised by the National Police Wellbeing Service, celebrate the very best initiatives, teams, and individuals across UK policing who are leading the way in improving workforce wellbeing. The awards highlight that wellbeing in policing is not just a “nice to have”, but a core part of building resilient, healthy forces nationwide.
