CDE will shortly be transitioning to the Defence and Security Accelerator, as part of the Defence Innovation Initiative.
The initiative was announced by the Secretary of State for Defence, Sir Michael Fallon in September.
In its 8 years, CDE has placed 1059 contracts, 43% with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), 29% industry and 28% academia. The Accelerator will build on this success.
Events and competitions delivered through the Accelerator will be outlined on its website.
