Information about DWP pension and benefit payments for people in Yemen.

The issue with processing benefit payments in local currency, Yemeni Rial (YER), through the Yemeni banking system has been resolved.

The Department for Work and Pensions is now able to pay claimants in local currency again. Payments are being reinstated and claimants will receive all backdated payments due to them.
