Cold weather plan: reversion to level 1 alert

Following issue of a level 2 alert last week, the Met Office has reported that this has now reverted to level 1 for areas in the North West, West Midlands, Southeast, Southwest and London.

While other regions presently remain at level 2 and 3, the Met Office expect that by the end of today most regions will probably revert to level 1.
