European Regulation 1925/2006 lists the vitamins and minerals that can voluntarily be added to food, such as to breakfast cereals and soft drinks.

This guidance is aimed at businesses that manufacturer, process, distribute, use, sell or import food fortified with vitamins and minerals. It explains how the Regulation governs the use of a vitamin or mineral added to a food product and restricts the use of substances which may pose a risk to health.

See: Guidance to compliance with European Regulation (EC) No. 1925/2006 on the addition of vitamins and minerals and certain other substances to food
