Improving the process of death certification

This letter to directors of public health from Professor John Newton, Lead Regional Director for Public Health on Death Certification Reforms, provides an update on the national reforms to death certification.

There is also an update that is being sent to local authority chief executives on the death certification programme which is looking to help develop alternative service models for local medical examiner services.
