The purpose of the survey is to determine:
- The number of organisations using PLICS
- What stage they are at in implementing PLICS
- Whether PLICS data is used to support the reference cost collection and
- How many organisations are using the Clinical Costing Standards.
These systems help organisations identify and understand the resources consumed at the patient level, and help build up the associated costs.
