Key elements of the Future Forum report, re-committal and amendments at Commons Report, concerned Part 3 of the Health and Social Care Bill, Regulation of Health and Adult Social Care.
As a result the Government has published this document, to inform and support Peers as Part 3 of the Bill is debated in the Lords. It provides clarity on Monitor’s proposed role and how it relates to the NHS Commissioning Board and Care Quality Commission, together with policy intentions on regulations prescribed in Part 3.
