Quality Accounts are required to be submitted to the Secretary of State and published on the NHS Choices website so that they are available to the public.
Timing for producing Quality Accounts is set out in Regulations and does not change from year to year. Each year, the reporting period starts on 1 April and ends on 31 March, and Quality Accounts in respect of that period must be submitted to the Secretary of State and uploaded to NHS Choices by 30 June.
