Renewed partnership agreement between health unions, employers and government published
A new partnership agreement, published today by the Social Partnership Forum (SPF), sets out a framework agreed by the Department of Health, NHS employers and NHS trade unions. It describes the partners' shared values and principles for effective joint working.

The agreement provides a guiding set of principles for the Department, employers and unions to work together at national, regional and local levels. By adopting the principles set out in the partnership agreement, all parties agree to recognise and respect each other’s roles and functions, which are distinct but complementary.

Read the Partnership Agreement.

See press release on SPF website.

The SPF is a forum to discuss, debate and involve partners in the development and implementation of the workforce implications of policy.
