A list of frequently asked questions associated with physiotherapist and podiatrist independent prescribing has also been developed based upon comments and questions arising from the consultation.

Ministers have announced their agreement to lay amendments to medicines legislation before Parliament which would enable independent prescribing responsibilities to be extended to appropriately qualified physiotherapists.
