The patient experience annex (annex B) changes are to inform the NHS of the thresholds against which their data will be measured, based on averages calculated from the 2011/12 CQC Inpatient Survey.

Additional alerts will be sent out to strategic health authority performance leads and on the UNIFY website to inform the NHS of the change.
