The Department of Health is seeking views on the proposed abolition of the NHS Commissioning Board Authority and the transfer of employees to the NHS Commissioning Board.

A letter from Richard Douglas, Director General of Policy, Strategy and Finance, to Karen Didovich Joint Chair, HR Transition Partnership Forum, seeks views on:

  • the abolition of the Authority and the transfer of employees to the Board
  • whether the appropriate staff groups to transfer have been identified
  • the potential implications for those staff and others who may be affected by the transfer.

Read the consultation letter and annex on the proposed transfer of employees from NHS Commissioning Board Authority to the NHS Commissioning Board.
