The drugs, which were discovered on Thursday 9 January, once cut and sold on the streets had a potential value of £130,000.
Officers stopped a 29-year-old Portuguese man, Marcos Martins-Goes, who had arrived on a flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil. After questioning him officers searched both luggage and Mr Martins-Goes, and discovered the drugs within the clothing he was wearing.
Mr Martins-Goes was arrested, and the investigation was passed to the National Crime Agency for further enquiries.
He appeared at Croydon Magistrates Court on 10 January. He pleaded guilty and will be sentenced at a later date.
