HM Land Registry is pleased to announce its Local Land Charges (LLC) INSPIRE dataset will be published monthly from 23 June 2022. The data shows the indicative geographical location of local land charges in England and Wales.
The dataset is being made available free of charge under Open Government Licence (OGL). Users can search for LLCs within a polygon using a unique identification number called an INSPIRE ID.
We are publishing the data on Use land and property data service as a GML file. To view downloaded polygons, you will need a Geographical Information System (GIS). This will allow you to store or edit the data, which can be compared or integrated with other datasets. We will update the data on the sixth day of each month.
Local authorities who have transferred their LLC service to the national register will automatically have their data published, making them compliant with the INSPIRE Regulations 2009. As a result, there is no requirement for these local authorities to publish their LLC data independently.
