In line with his 2022-23 inspection plan, the Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration has commenced an inspection of the Border Force intelligence functions at the Humber ports (Goole, Grimsby, Hull and Immingham).

The team will examine how Border Force intelligence works with other Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) at the Humber ports, and will visit Humberside and other Border Force sites, including multi-agency hubs. The scope of this inspection will focus on the sharing of data, information and intelligence between Border Force intelligence and other LEAs.

The inspection team anticipates reporting to the Home Secretary by October 2022.
