Partners showcase support for low carbon vehicles at major event
Delegates at this year's showcase low carbon vehicles event Cenex-LCV 2016 will learn about support available from key UK funding bodies.

Major UK organisations supporting the development of low carbon vehicle technologies will join forces to showcase their support at the UK Pavilion at this year’s Cenex-LCV event.

Cenex-LCV 2016 takes place at Millbrook Proving Ground, near Bedford, on 14 and 15 September 2016. It is the UK’s leading low carbon vehicle event and features a technology exhibition, seminars and opportunities to drive the latest low carbon and ultra-low emission vehicles.

All the major motor industry manufacturers and players will be at the event, which is expected to attract 3,000 delegates.

UK is recognised globally for its innovation support

Simon Edmonds, Innovate UK’s director for manufacturing and materials, said:

This year’s UK Pavilion at LCV 2016 is a manifestation of this strong joint strategic partnership. The Innovate UK team looks forward to meeting companies and innovators at LCV and discussing how we might support them to innovate and grow.

The Transport Systems Catapult will also be among exhibitors, and there will be a materials innovation showcase hosted by the Knowledge Transfer Network.

The APC will also host a half-day workshop on 14 September where key figures from the funding bodies will discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the industry.
