Providers can apply at any time. Successful applicants will deliver work under the 2024 Standard Civil Contract.
We intend to award contracts under this process to commence as soon as possible after the verification process is complete.
Why is it happening now?
Families in Trafford use legal aid when dealing with issues such as domestic abuse, care proceedings, or disputes involving children. To maintain strong coverage, we need more providers in this area.
Who can apply?

- New organisations entering the legal aid market
- Organisations able to meet the contract’s quality and supervisory standards
