Today, we have published our investigation report into the circumstances that led to the man overboard of a deckhand from the fishing vessel Copious (LK 985) on 18 February 2021. The unconscious casualty was recovered from the water by a coastguard helicopter and pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.
A safety flyer to the fishing industry summarising the accident and detailing the safety lessons learned has also been produced.
