Capsize and flooding of berthed fishing vessel Fredwood in Maryport, England.

Our accident investigation report into the capsize, damage and sinking of the scallop dredger Fredwood while alongside in Maryport, Cumbria on 6 April 2016, is now published.

The report, available via this link, contains details of what happened and the subsequent actions taken.

A safety flyer for the fishing industry summarising the accident and detailing the safety lessons learned has also been produced.
