The Marine Accident Investigation Branch has a vacancy for a Technical Officer who will provide key support during investigations.

As Technical Officer you will:

  • Identify, recover and analyse technical evidence from Voyage Data Recorders and other electronic sources
  • Work extensively with Geographic Information Systems
  • Work with the MAIB’s Marine Accident Data Analysis Suite
