Sinking of fishing vessel Majestic, 5 nautical miles off Yell, Shetland.

Our accident investigation report into the flooding and foundering of the wooden potter Majestic (LK678) is now published.

The report, available via this link, contains details of what happened and the subsequent actions taken.

A safety flyer for the fishing industry summarising the accident and detailing the safety lessons learned has also been produced.
