Capsize and foundering of a fishing vessel 150 nautical miles north-east of Peterhead, Scotland, with loss of 1 life.

Today, we have published our accident investigation report into the capsize and foundering of stern trawler Njord (SH 90) on 6 March 2022, during which one crew member lost his life.

The report, available via this link, contains details of what happened and subsequent actions taken.

A safety flyer to the fishing industry has also been produced with this report.
