Grounding and capsize of the fishing vessel Saint Christophe 1 while alongside in Dartmouth harbour.

Our accident investigation report into the grounding of the berthed trawler Saint Christophe 1 resulting in it capsizing, flooding and sinking in Dartmouth harbour on 10 March 2016, is now published.

The report, available via this link, contains details of what happened and the subsequent actions taken.

A safety flyer for the fishing industry summarising the accident and detailing the safety lessons learned has also been produced.
