Fatal man overboard from a single-handed creel boat off Macduff, Scotland.

Our accident investigation report on the fatal man overboard from the fishing vessel Sea Mist on 27 March 2019, is now published.

The report. available via this link, contains details of what happened, the subsequent actions taken and recommendations made.

A safety flyer to the fishing industry summarising the accident and detailing the safety lessons learned, has also been produced.
