This is a status update for the investigation into the serious injury sustained by a crew member after a fall in their cabin on board VOS Voyager during heavy weather in the North Sea on 19 January 2024.
Following a detailed investigation, the Chief Inspector of Marine Accidents has decided to discontinue the safety investigation because no safety issues have been identified that require promulgation to the wider marine industry in support of the prevention of future accidents.
