Professor Sir Hew Strachan has been reappointed as a Trustee of the Imperial War Museum for a period of 4 years

Professor Sir Hew Strachan

Professor Strachan is Chichele Professor of the History of War, Oxford University, and Fellow of All Souls. He was previously Research Fellow, Corpus Christi College, Cambridge 1975-8; Senior Lecturer in War Studies, RMA Sandhurst 1978-79; Fellow, Corpus Christi College, Cambridge 1979-1992 (Life Fellow 1992-date); Professor of Modern History, University of Glasgow 1992-2001.

The reappointment term is for 4 years from 1 March 2014 to 28 February 2018
