In this seminar Cliff and Richard explored the commissioning landscape in public health services and discussed innovative commissioning approaches both at a regional and local level in Bristol. They also examined the concepts of service alignment and co-commissioning.

Cliff and Richard then discussed the consortia approach of redesigning mental health services in Bristol. Innovation is not always easy and they also shared the challenges and lessons learned to achieve successful commissioning.
