Secretary of State condemns attack on PSNI Officers

Speaking earlier today following the attack on PSNI Officers in North Belfast, Rt Hon Theresa Villiers MP said:

No cause justifies these potentially murderous attacks on police officers working for the whole community.

Such attacks show a complete disregard for life and achieve nothing.

It was extremely fortunate that there were no injuries or fatalities. My thoughts are with the officers involved in this incident.
