Secretary of State welcomes green energy investment in Londonderry

“After last week’s encouraging GDP figures and the recent drop in unemployment, today’s £81m investment by Evermore and the UK Green Investment Bank brings another welcome boost to the Northern Ireland economy.

“As well as creating 200 new jobs in the north west, this project will show what a great place Northern Ireland is to do business in. The new plant will also benefit the environment by helping reduce carbon emissions.”
