Minister of State for Northern Ireland The Rt Hon Hugo Swire MP attended the Paris Airshow to promote Northern Ireland business interests and has welcomed the announcement by Bombardier of £70 million worth of orders.
The minister said:
Bombardier is Northern Ireland’s largest private sector employer and in addition it awards contracts worth over £200million to businesses throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. I welcome the news this week that £70 million orders have been generated by Bombardier, this can only be good news for business in Northern Ireland.
