Following this afternoon’s announcement by Buckingham Palace, the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Rt Hon Theresa Villiers MP, warmly welcomed the news that Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh will visit Northern Ireland between the 23rd and 25th June. Ms Villiers commented:
I am absolutely delighted that Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh will visit Northern Ireland at the end of June. This will be a wonderful opportunity to show Her Majesty and His Royal Highness some of the best that Northern Ireland has to offer and demonstrate the work being done to bring different parts of the community together and build a more prosperous future.
