Clive Tucker appointed as Interim Chair of SSRO
The Single Source Regulations Office has announced that Clive Tucker will serve as the organisation’s Interim Chair while a permanent replacement for Jeremy Newman is sought.

Appointed as a Non-executive member of the SSRO in September 2014, Clive is the Chair of the SSRO’s Referrals Committee and a member of the Regulatory Review Committee.

Clive Tucker said:

The SSRO has quickly become an important organisation which is generating efficiency savings for investment elsewhere in defence capability. I’m looking forward to maintaining this momentum until a permanent Chair is appointed.

Clive’s other roles include non-executive National Committee Member and audit committee chair at Forestry Commission England and steering board member of the UK Space Agency and Chair of its Audit Committee. Clive is also a director at strategic business consultancy Pitch Partners Limited and was previously a solicitor and partner at Ashurst LLP, where he advised on major procurement projects and other commercial transactions.
