Jonathan Kini has today (1 December 2023) been reappointed to the Ofwat board.
This marks Jonathan’s second term at Ofwat, the independent economic regulator of water services in England and Wales. His term will run until 30th November 2027.
The reappointment complies with the Ministerial Governance Code on Public Appointments. All appointments are made on merit and political activity plays no part in the selection process.
Biographical details of Jonathan Kini

Jonathan most recently worked as Managing Director of TalkTalk’s Consumer and Business Division and continues to support the business on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, he has held senior roles in Virgin Media and Vodafone across both business-to-consumer and business-to-business dealings, and previously worked for Drax Plc as CEO of its Customer Businesses.

Jonathan has held advisory roles at the Bank of England and chaired the Business in the Community (BITC) Net Zero Carbon Taskforce.

He is currently Non-Executive Director of regulator Ofgem.
