To keep under review the boundaries of Parliamentary Constituencies in Scotland and the boundaries of the constituencies of the Scottish Parliament.

Established 1944. The Chair is the Speaker of the House of Commons, but by convention he or she does not participate in the Commission's work. The Deputy Chair leads the Commission's work.
