A government organisation that can pay money (compensation) to people who have been physically or mentally injured because they were the blameless victim of a violent crime.

Established 1996. Formally transitioned to Executive Agency status 1 April 2014. CE Remuneration is salary received for 2013-14, plus any bonus paid. There are no public appointments.
