Disabled Persons’ Transport Advisory Committee (DPTAC)

Statutory body set up under the Transport Act 1985 to advise the Government on transport policy as it affects the mobility of disabled people.

Established 1986. Chair does not take payment. The 2012/2013 Annual Report has not yet been published; funding and expenditure figures are preliminary. DPTAC was proposed to cease being an NDPB but, a decision to retain it was made in June 2013.
