To organise, develop, promote, encourage and coordinate the marketing in the United Kingdom (UK) and elsewhere of UK agricultural and horticultural produce, fish (other than sea fish) and fish products and any other food produced or processed in the UK.
The Board has not met since Feb 2009. The body is due to be legally dissolved by means of an Order under the Public Bodies Act in 2014.
