Department for Business, Innovation and Skills
UKCES provides strategic leadership on skills and employment issues. Led by Commissioners from large and small employers, trade unions and the voluntary sector, they aim to raise skill levels to help drive enterprise, create more and better jobs and economic growth.
Established 2008. Chair remuneration represents payment to John Lewis Partnership for Chair's services in 2012/13. CE remuneration includes London allowance of £3,500.
