VisitEngland is the national tourist board for England. Responsible for marketing England to domestic and established overseas markets and for improving England's tourism product

The English Tourist Board, now known as VisitEngland was created by the Development of Tourism Act, 1969. The Board's expenses and work of the VisitEngland Executive team is funded via the British Tourist Authority trading as VisitEngland.
