Online vehicle tax service unavailability on 31 March 2014

A technical fault on DVLA's online vehicle tax service has now been resolved.

Due to a technical fault with our digital services some motorists were unable to tax their vehicles on 31 March. The fault was fixed as quickly as possible but some motorists were unable to tax their vehicles before the new vehicle tax rates came into force on 1 April. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and if any customers feel unduly affected they should contact us.
