Improving how you search for information about qualifications
Our prototype of an improved register of regulated qualifications is up and running. We'd like your feedback.

We’ve just launched a prototype of our new look register of regulated qualifications and are looking for people to test it out. You can find it at alpharegister.ofqual.gov.uk

We’ve known for some time now that our current register is not simple to navigate, especially if you’re not used to the jargon used in the world of education and qualifications.

The new look register aims to be easier to use and provide information about qualifications that is simpler to understand and quicker to find.

But we want to test this, so we’d love you to check out our prototype register and tell us what you think through a quick survey. This will help us develop the register further over the coming months.

Please note: the prototype register doesn’t yet have all the functions we hope to include when the final version is launched. This means that you will still need to use our current register to do detailed searches about regulated qualifications.
