Sir Julian King KCVO CMG has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the French Republic.

Sir Julian King KCVO CMG has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the French Republic in succession to Sir Peter Ricketts GCMG GCVO, who will be retiring from the Diplomatic Service in January 2016. Sir Julian will take up his appointment at the start of February 2016.
