The CMA formally cancelled its inquiry into Fenland’s anticipated acquisition of Fishers’ cleanroom laundry business.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) received assurance from Fenland that the anticipated acquisition has been abandoned.

On 4 January 2016, the CMA referred Fenland Laundries Limited’s (Fenland) anticipated acquisition of Fishers Services Limited’s (Fishers) cleanroom laundry business for an in-depth phase 2 investigation.
