European Antibiotic Awareness Day coincides with the first World Antibiotic Awareness Week.
The aim of these initiatives is to increase awareness of antibiotic resistance and to encourage people to use antibiotics responsibly to protect animal health by ensuring antibiotics remain effective.
The VMD has produced a series of posters to reinforce a number of responsible use messages for vets.
